COMMITTEE DESCRIPTION

Fund Raising - With the philosophy that dues support the operation of the club, this committee will explore fund-raising activities to support the charitable works of the club that are not funded by charity- or project-specific activities (i.e., the annual Literacy Lunch).

GOAL: By February 2008, develop a fund-raising plan for the club that will result in funds available through the ORBRC Foundation for use in the 2008-2009 Rotary year, and develop a long-range plan for the continuation of such funding on a schedule that raises money the year before the funds are spent.

Chair 2007-2008: Past-President Linda Brown (Long-range plan is that President-Elect will chair this committee so that funds raised are spent in the year the PE leads the club.)
