The ORBRC meets at Tech 20/20 in Commerce Park

in Oak Ridge on June 5, 12, and 19.

 

We will be back at Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church at 1500 Oak Ridge Turnpike on June 26.

 

Breakfast Rotary does not meet on July 4.

 

Starting July 10 and for all subsequent meetings, we will meet at Tech 20/20.

 

Tech 20/20 is at 1020 Commerce Park Drive.

Directions are provided below.

 

 

 The Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotary Club meets weekly for fellowship, breakfast,

and an informative and interesting presentation from a guest speaker.

        Doors Open

 

• Wednesday at 6:45 a.m.

• Buffet line opens shortly after 7 a.m.

• Meeting begins no later than 7:30 a.m. (sometimes a bit earlier) and adjourns promptly at 8:15

Inclement Weather Policy

 

• Stay Safe - Do not try to reach us if it will put you at risk.

• We will NOT meet if Oak Ridge City Schools are CLOSED because of weather.

• If city schools are closed for other reasons – like Presidents' Day or a broken water pipe – we WILL meet.

• If schools are delayed because of weather, we WILL meet on our regular schedule, but please refer to item No. 1 above!

DIRECTIONS TO THE TECH 20/20 FACILITY


From Oak Ridge:


Scarboro Road Entrance

  1. From Illinois Avenue-Lafayette/Scarboro Road Intersection, go right onto Scarboro Road.
  2. Continue straight on Scarboro Road past the Y-12 Plant entrance (on the right).
  3. Go over the hill and take the next left into Commerce Park.
  4. At the stop sign, go right onto Commerce Park Drive.
  5. Tech 20/20 is the third building on the right, 1020 Commerce Park Drive.

Illinois Avenue Entrance

  1. From Illinois Avenue-Lafayette/Scarboro Road Intersection, go south on Illinois Avenue (Hwy 62S) (toward Knoxville).
  2. Continue straight through Union Valley Road intersection, and just past UT Arboretum (on left).
  3. Turn right into Commerce Park and take next left onto Commerce Park Drive.
  4. Continue on Commerce Park Drive past Clearview Court.
  5. Tech 20/20 is the grey building with red trim on the left.

From Knoxville:

  1. Traveling West on I-40/I-75, take the Oak Ridge exit #376 onto 162N.
  2. Go 5.3 miles on N162, 162N becomes 62W. Follow signage “To Oak Ridge.”
  3. Cross the Clinch River Bridge. Veer left, staying on 62W over the new flyover. You will notice a sign to your right saying Commerce Park next left.
  4. Stay in left lane, at the end of the retaining wall, turn left into Commerce Park.
  5. Take the first left onto Commerce Park Drive.
  6. Tech 20/20 is between the 2nd and 3rd streets on the left.

From McGhee Tyson Airport:

  1. Take Alcoa Hwy (129N) toward Knoxville.
  2. Go 2.9 miles, taking the Oak Ridge exit onto I-140W (Pellissippi Parkway).
  3. Go approximately 11.7 miles. You will go over I-40/I-75. Follow signage “To Oak Ridge.” At the traffic light, turn left onto 162N.
  4. Follow directions from Step 2 “From Knoxville.”

From Nashville:

  1. Traveling east on I-40, follow I-40 signage to Knoxville.
  2. Take the Oak Ridge exit #376 (East/Oak Ridge – North/Maryville).
  3. Turn left, cross over I-40, turn left at stop light onto 162N.
  4. Follow directions from Step 2 “From Knoxville.”

From Chattanooga:

  1. Traveling north on I-24, I-24 becomes I-75N.
  2. Go 0.3 miles and take the I-40W exit and merge onto I-40 W.
  3. Traveling east on I-40, follow I-40 signage to Knoxville.
  4. Take the Oak Ridge exit #376 (East/Oak Ridge – North/Maryville).
  5. Turn left, cross over I-40, turn left at stop light onto 162N.
  6. Follow directions from Step 2 “From Knoxville.”
