Description: Charter President Dave Mason and District Governor Carol LaRue were all smiles as Rotarians from across District 6780 joined the nearly 30 members of the newest club in East Tennessee for their charter night Sept. 22. A dozen Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotarians were on hand for the celebration.

Past Rotary International Vice President Bill Sergeant and his daughter, Patty Daughtrey, who chairs the District 6780 Training Committee and the District Conference Committee. Setting up to receive guests and visitors are Sunset Club Vice President Bonnie Clark, Secretary Dawn Willis, and new member Elaine Parker New Sunsetter Kurt Warmbrod and District 6780 Assistant Governor Logan Hickman of the South Campbell Rotary Club. Past District Governor John Bailey, who now chairs the District 6780 Foundation Committee and who is a member of the Knoxville Rotary Club; District Governor-Elect Carol Foster of the Fayetteville Rotary Club; and Henry Pate, past president of the Hamilton Place Rotary Club.

Historian Bill Wilcox talked about the work Oak Ridge Rotary clubs have done locally and internationally. District Governor Carol LaRue spoke as President Dave Mason consulted his notes.
