Album Date: Oct 30, 2008
Description: We had a howling good time when we gathered at Willow Ridge Garden Center for food and fun and fellowship the day before Halloween.

As the sun sets behind them, Judi Gray greets the bride and groom, Mary Lou (Whitten) and John Auxier. Roger Olson points out that Tom Lakers IS in costume (who'd recognize him without his invisible socks?). The divas -- Judi Gray and Brenda Thornburgh. Quite an ensemble: Judi Gray, Brenda and Tom Thornburgh, and Louise Mixon (really). You can always COUNT on the Thorburghs -- Brenda and Tom were elegantly attired and fanged.
Another fabulous couple -- and they actually had these outfits in their closet! -- Jim and Jane Yes-I-Made-This-Myself-a-Long-Time-Ago Palmer. Mary Lou and John met Christina and Jerry Young around one of the wonderful fire pits (note that Jerry IS keeping his distance). You can't knock the grins off Mary Lou and John's faces. They came disguised as teenagers, judging by the glow. Enjoying the potluck (and excellent) buffet, so well organized by Susie Olson, are (from left) Christina Young, Mike Morris, Pat Parr, Ken Sommerfeld, and Bonnie Clark from the Oak Ridge Sunset Rotary Club. (in the background are Lenny and Judi Gray and Jane Palmer).
Pat Postma and Brenda Thornburgh looked awfully serious .... Tom Thornburgh talks with Christina Young; Pat and Brenda (and Elvis). Roger and Susie Olson, who did such a good job of organizing things, either came as Fuzzy People or the photographer moved the camera. The Thornburghs -- Nancy and Tom -- and Brenda's fabulous purse (not every day you see one in the shape of a coffin!).
