In 1987, President Bill Thomas established the position currently referred to as “The Rooster” to encourage fellowship, recognize members’ community achievements, remember them on their birthdays and membership anniversaries, and provide a platform for each member to share personal happiness.

The Rooster’s fund-raising fines support club operations and good works.

Over the years, a number of traditions have emerged. The current guidelines are captured in Leigha Stewart's "Rooster-ette's Rules," which follow.

 ROOSTER-ette  RULES!

each personal announcement (birthday, anniversary, etc.) and SCOOTER fee (come late/leave early)

$5

each announcement for a  non-profit
(other than Rotary)

Fines to be assessed at the
whim of the Rooster-ette!
