Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotary - * World Rotary Day *

The Rotary International Public Image Committee has asked that every club plan and implement a Community Service Project focused around February 23, the 107th anniversary of Rotary’s founding. The idea is to do good throughout the world simultaneously and to help communities understand what Rotary is all about.

Oak Ridge Breakfast Rotary Club volunteers will take the lead in producing 5,000 copies of a full-color special section about Rotary International and the three Oak Ridge clubs that will run in local newspapers. ORBRC, The Rotary Club of Oak Ridge, and the Oak Ridge Sunset Rotary Club activities and history will be featured.

The first year's section ran 28 pages - it was featured on the Rotary International website's home page and won an RI Public Relations Award. Subsequent issues have highlighted ongoing work of the clubs, and Rotarians and their businesses supplied advertising support to let readers know about Rotary's good work in our community and the world.

We need your help again to help spread the word about our efforts and build stronger clubs to carry on our work in Oak Ridge, Anderson and surrounding counties, and the world.
