 COMMITTEE DESCRIPTION

Youth Leadership and Service   - This committee explores the ways by which the club can formalize its interest in promoting leadership and service for young people in our area, and determine the long-range feasibility of extending such service, first in Oak Ridge, and then throughout Anderson County.

The Youth Services Committee is sponsoring formation of  a YouthAct youth leadership/service organization for Robertsville Middle School students ages 11-14. Longer-range plans call for sponsorship of an Interact club for area high school students ages 14-18 (Anderson County or Clinton High School), or Rotaract club (Roane State Community College; 18- to 30-year-olds) and develop a plan for sustained support and interaction.
